A Mother's Voice

In honor of Mother's Day, I'm doing a little guest blogging project called "A Mother's Voice". I'm asking some friends, some fellow bloggers and women that inspire me to write down thoughts or a story on motherhood and I'll be posting them through out the next week or two. Being a mom is a bond that many women share but everyone's experience is so different. We can all learn from each other, whether our children are yet to be born, just taking their first steps, graduating from high school or are 50 years old.

I was telling my mom about this project and she decided to give me my Mother's Day present a little early. This fits in beautifully for what I was planning. The words are by an unknown author and she shared this story with me when I was pregnant. Now that Harper is here, it means all that much more.
