Happy 4th of July!

It was a successful first 4th of July for Miss Meabon - a very routine 4th, minus the firecrackers.  Almost the entire state was on a firecracker ban due to the drought so we'll have to wait until next year for the Squirrel to see the fire in the sky. 

We started the morning off with the annual neighborhood 4th of July Parade.





Headed to the pool for snacks with the 'hood.  As you can see, someone was pretty into the H2O melon!









Went home for a nap and back to the pool for an afternoon dip and wrapped it all up with sausages on the grill.

We so enjoyed our little walk around the neighborhood with ya'all! I do have to say, I was a little jealous that your cutie was unbashfully enjoying the watermelon.....Audrey turned her cheek anytime a piece was near her face:)
