Deep Thoughts

by Jack Handy Brooke Meabon

- When I'm sick (like right now), I wish they made a giant, blue nose bulb for adults like they do for babies.  There is something so satisfying about clearing a baby's nose and I wish I could do the same to mine.

- When I get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and don't turn the lights on, the thought almost always crosses my mind, "I hope a snake isn't hiding in the toilet waiting to bite me on the bottom".

That's it.  Over and out.

After sucking snot out of Grayson all week, I was saying the EXACT SAME thing to Kevin about an adult nose sucker thing. I asked him if he would do it for me and he walked away. Oh well. As for the bathroom thing, get a dimmer switch for your bathroom. Best $5 you will EVER spend. Then you can put the light on super low and check everything out without blinding yourself. :) Hope you are feeling okay! Harper is ADORABLE. What a fun Christmas you'll have this year!

OH MY GOSH!!!! I hace the SAME EXACT fear at night, that is ALL I think about when sitting down!!!! Then I try and switch thoughts to, "I'm so glad I'm a girl and can go to the bathroom at 3AM without having to turn the lights on, like a guy does!!"

Let me tell you about how true statement two is for me. I was a new roomie to Rod (pre-marriage, yes) and I woke up to potty, didn't put my glasses on or turn on the lights. I'm trying to close the door somewhat (because we're not married yet) and it kept getting stuck on something... I WAS CLOSING THE DOOR ON ROD'S SNAKE'S TAIL!!!!!
